Involved in the initial development stages of Voices of Art magazine, Stacey has been a contributing writer since the magazine's inception in 1993. Since arriving in Houston in 2004 she has been actively engaged in Houston’s vibrant arts community as a contributing writer for ArtsHouston magazine, Houston ArtsWeek, and Voices of Art. She later developed her own online dialogue about contemporary art called visualseen at www.visualseen.net. Her work is increasingly focused on finding ways in which dialogues surrounding contemporary art become an expression of a more sustainable world. How artists utilize green materials, express the realities of the current paradigm shift, and convey compassion for the human condition is the emphasis of her current critical writing.
